How to get subtitles to show on MKV anime videos?

Question: I just got School Rumble via torrent and I can't get subtitles to show up. I know they're there, hence the "built in subtitles" in the title, but I can't get them to appear. My MKV video player is GOM player and I've been messing in the menus of it for a while now and nothing is doing anything. Only these videos won't show subs, I have another MKV anime and it shows subtitles just fine.

Answer: That's quite a strange problem. Anime sub groups don't release episodes which are subbed with external subtitles, they always have subtitles embedded into them, so i don't see how a problem like that can exist with a anime sub release. It either cannot play the file at all (because of codec issues) or plays it fine.

Your able to play the other episodes fine, so i'm not going to blame MKV codec Pack.
