ROM Mark: Contains the Volume ID required to decrypt content encrypted using AACS. On Blu-ray discs, the Volume ID is stored in the BD-ROM Mark so it cannot be duplicated on consumers' recordable media.

Image Constraint Token (ICT): Restricts the resolution for analog outputs to 960×540. Full 1920×1080 resolution is restricted to HDMI or DVI outputs that support HDCP.

Bus Encryption: An up-to-date protection form applied in a very few BD-drive models that adds additional layer of encryption in drive firmware. It is the use of encrypted program instructions on a data bus in a computer.
