How to Fix WinX DVD Ripper Platinum Problem Ripping?
Question: What should I do when WinX DVD Ripper Platinum is not ripping the whole movie?
I purchased the WinX DVD Ripper Platinum and it worked fine, converting the DVDs to computer files. But when I tried it on a 2-hour movie, it stops ripping the DVD halfway through, not ripping the entire movie. What should I do?
Best Answer
If WinX DVD Ripper stops early (say, half way), instead of ripping the full movie, please try one of the suggestions below:
1. Please check whether your DVD plays properly. Or you may use other DVDs to have a try.
>>Download the latest version of WinX DVD Ripper Platinum (for Windows)
>> Download the latest version of WinX Free DVD Ripper (for Windows)
2. The WinX DVD Ripper not ripping whole movie may be caused by a skip directive which is built-in the DVD. It misleads the DVD ripper to ask it stop the ripping or skip to a certain title. To fix the problem, do remember to enable the "Safe Mode" option in the "Advanced Setting" area of main interface to have a try.
3. If there are some bad sections or data damage in the movie, WinX DVD Ripper won't rip it directly. You can skip the damaged parts. Please find Trim in Edit, "Enable Trim" and adjust the "Start Time" to be a couple of seconds/minutes after the point where the ripping ends to have a try. How to Edit DVD Video
4. The reason for WinX DVD Ripper Platinum not ripping the whole movie may also lies in the intact DVD information. That is to say, the DVD's information is not intact, or our product can't read the full information of the DVD.
In such as case, please use DVD Backup -> Clone DVD to ISO Image feature to have a try. (because Clone DVD to ISO Image enables you to back up your DVD with original video and audio.)
